Patience takes you nowhere fast. For the longest time, I had always assumed that phrase meant that being patient would take you anywhere. You would still get to where you are going, but you wouldn’t get there fast. You would just get there slow. I didn’t see a problem with that. So what if I’m patient sometimes, what I want will come to me… eventually. Now I realize what that phrase really means. Nowhere is a place, and you’ll go straight there (fast) if all you are is patient. You must also be active.
You must take initiative 24/7 365 days a year. Every waking minute you are making a decision. A decision that decides your future. What do you want your future to look like? Do you want to be successful? Do you want to be helping people? Do you want to help yourself? There are many different directions you can take your life, and that is all up to you. You already know the right answer, so just make it. It is not always the easiest option, in fact, it almost never is, but when you look back, you will be happy you made the choices you did.
Live in the moment. Feed the positive thoughts, and turn away the negative thoughts saying, “that isn’t the real me”. You can make it big in any field you choose to enter. Have hope, and follow it up with an initiative.
Patience takes you nowhere. Just go out and get what you want. #ThatIsTheSaintWay
